As someone who is not a coffee drinker, Big Dogs is one of the very few shops in Pittsburgh that have an incredible tea... selection. They also sell by the pot which is amazing for the price, something no other place I have found does that. It?s anice place to work or to just meet up with friends. Good selection of seating as well. Only reason I haven?t given 5 stars isdue to some attitudes and rudeness of some staff members in the past. It?s a great spot for a wide variety of options,definitely recommend! Read more
A pleasant place for a morning brew, especially on their patio! There's the standard coffee menu that you'd find at any Cafe,... along with handmade Italian soda and a pretty decent tea collection. They've also got some pastries, an oatmeal bar, and alimited selection of bagels if you're looking for a small bite. Conveniently, they also sell bags of intelligentsia coffee,though there's a slight markup from what you might find at other stores. In my opinion, this is the best coffee shop in the South Side area of Pittsburgh. The staff is friendly and the coffee is... incredible (Intelligentsia brand). If you purchase the bagged coffee, they will grind the beans for you, to your specifications.The atmosphere is welcoming and makes you feel creative, with all of the local artwork on the walls.
