I always feel a little disappointed whenever I find myself here. Beers not fully poured, small app for price, burger with a... weird taste, hidden 20% gratuity to your check... And that's just this recent time. Everything is always just a little off andthat's my best way to explain it. Read more
You know this would?ve been a five star review if not for one thing. Let me start at the beginning. We got there, seated... outside and had a beer or two. The beer list is interesting, some different things that we had not had before. Pretty good. Thefood was better than many. The service was acceptable. The thing that really really put me off was at the end when the checkcame. Let me preface this by saying I tip pretty generously always! As long as the server is reasonably accommodating, Theydon?t even have to be great, just reasonable. When the server brought the check, he pointed out a 20% tip is already calculatedinto the total, as a separated charge a Ready included. I was stunned. I paid without complaint, like most I?m sure. But themore I thought about it afterwards, it?s very audacious To put a customer in a position of arguing about a gratuity, in the casewhere it was not deserved, with the very server who provided substandard service. All in all it?s just a very tacky practice.That along well stop me from going back. Such a shame, because the place does have a lot of potential. And we do like beer! Read more

This is a cool bar. However, it?s getting ridiculously expensive. My husband and I just had 2 beers, one margarita, two salads... and one order of french fries and payed $88 plus their mandatory 20% gratuity (they always automatically add it to the check).These prices are just outrageous!! I know there?s inflation, etc. But I have the feeling that these guys just take advantage.They seem to charge whatever they want for their ?Brooklyn-like? vibe in Pittsburgh. Well, we don?t have New York wages inPittsburgh, my friends. Paying a hundred dollars for two beers, one drink and two salads feels like a robbery. I won?t be comingback to this place. Read more
