I didn't realize the platter that I saw on the reviews is the luch buffet. While I was there for dinner, I was clueless. There... are no pictures on the menu. So, I had to Google all the dish names to make an order. The lamb kabob tastes good, especially thenaan. The fish yellow curry tastes better than the chicken red curry. I took one star off because the chicken curry on kid'smenu is spicy. I would say it's not a kids friendly restaurant if your kid doesn't eat spicy food. Read more
This is the review from an Indian so the context of this review is focused on authenticity and taste. While the photos are so... deceiving, I will say that the taste of curries can see some improvement. Our group had both veg and nonveg platters. Among thenon veg platter, I will only recommend kabab while the chicken curry is simply a red colored water and fish curry had a weirdsmell. Among veg platter, pakora was good and rest all were just average. The nans were fully cooked once and in the secondround it was half cooked. After eating bland vegetarian food in Greensburg for a few days, I was hoping to find something more flavorful when I got to... Pittsburg. Masala House rescued my bored taste buds. I had samosas, garlic naan, vegetable korma, and channa masala. Each dishwas hot and bursting with flavor. The staff were friendly and attentive. I?ll definitely come back the next time I?m in town! What a wonderful Indian restaurant! Everyone at the restaurant was very kind and even assisted us with the nearby street... parking. The lunch special was delicious and very filling- I suggest arriving for lunch early because they do run out of thespecial. My first time having Indian food, and oh my goodness I?m in love!! Not only was the food 20/10 but our lovely waitress really... made the whole experience! She was so kind and really strives to make it a beautiful time for us. I highly recommend this placeand can not wait to go back for more!!
