We love Peet's over Starbucks anyway.
We were here on sunday 9/1/19. The coffee was good, and the service we were provided was average, not good but not bad. The... reason for the 1 star rating is due to how the person ahead of us was treated. Many people were in placerville for the drydiggins music festival and she was obviously there for that reason. She was older and seemed to be having a hard time with thecard reader. It was asking for her phone number and she was inputting her card. The lady helping her was so RUDE!! She said toher "its saying something very specific on there, what is it saying?" But in such a rude and condescending way. She knew what itwas asking for and all she had to do was tell her to input her phone number or x out of it, but instead felt the need tobelittle her. I was about to explain to the customer what to do because I felt so bad for her, but finally the employee told herto x out of it. I'm not sure if she treated her this way because she was a festival goer or what, but sooo not ok. After shehelped her she began complaining to her coworker about another coworker who asked for a weekend off. Coffee is great but the prices are a bit steep.
