My wife/I started coming here last year to see one of our favorite local/indie musicians, Michael Rawls play. Since then we've... been back several times to see a variety of music acts & open mics. Mike & Kathy (owners) are very nice/friendly people whoalways greet us warmly and make time for good conversation with us. If you're into vinyl records, they have a large selection(about half of the cafe is dedicated to this) but if you just want to sit/chill, talk with friends, play card/board games orwork on a project (they have wi-fi) over coffee, beer, wine, sandwiches, pretzels, chips, whatever..that's cool too! If you'remusically inclined and like to perform there's a monthly open mic (1st Fridays) that gets a nice turnout but if you are a musiclover on any level you can go anytime and just enjoy the vibe, talk music with Mike and other patrons. Close by, typically smallcrowds, plenty of seating, not expensive at all and they usually close up around 9:30-10:00pm so it's never a late night(perfect for us).
