Would be 0 stars if possible. Not a good experience at all. First, I walked in and waited a couple minutes as the host was on... the phone. He didn't even look up from the phone when I walked in. Another employee came up to me and took care of me: was goingto check on my food, didn't come back until the host got off the phone and said he would check too. The first employee finallycame back and told me an item was missed on the ticket and it would be 10 more mins. I told them it was totally fine, I work inthe food industry so I get it, and took our drinks out to the car and waited. I came back in and the order was ready for me, ifyou could say that. The to-go containers were very cheap styrofoam which was not impressive. Now I'm very confused as to what Iordered vs what I ate. This is the gluten free "calzone", which is literally just a pizza folded, which is not in any way whatthey have it as on the menu, and gluten free "cheese bread", which is just a cheese pizza without sauce. both were dry, notflavorful, and not a joy to eat at all. couldn't finish two pieces. I didn't want pizza because I'm a manager at a pizzeria, andit looks like every item I ordered ended up being a pizza anyways. My girlfriend ordered the basil pesto pasta, some of thenoodles were hard and obviously not cooked correctly. she also ordered the cheese bread, and you could tell the ingredients andtoppings on it are cheap and not impressive quality. We spend $80 on the meal, not worth the price at all. And the food ended upmaking us feel sick, like we had rocks in our stomachs. Would never recommend. Read more

Excellent service, they rang up my order wrong initially, meatball Alfredo with sauté mushrooms, they had to correct it twice.... They were quick and excellently done just was not what I had ordered. I first got meatball Alfredo with sauté onions and bacon.Second time was meatball Alfredo with sauté spinach. Third time correct. Read more

Nonna?s is the best Italian food in Plainfield. Must tries on the menu include Ryan Breadsticks and their Stromboli. I enjoyed... dine more when they first opened since now they are a order at the counter/self serve restaurant although I understand the needto adapt with the lack of staff. Every time I order for carry out it is hot and fresh when I pick it up. If you like Italianfood and are in the Plainfield area I highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat! Read more

The ordering process seemed a little odd and impersonal. You order your food as soon as you enter, then are given a number. You... pick a table and your food is brought to you. That is where the negative comments end. The atmosphere is very lively and what iwould consider authentic. The food was served fast, hot and plentiful. Quality of food was excellent. Server attention for itemssuch as sides, dinner ware was frequent but not over-bearing, pushy or intrusive. I am not a die hard itallian food kind ofperson but i actually cannot wait to dine there again. Myself and most of my dinner party left feeling miserable because we allate so much food. Highly recommend Read more
