I definitely had a bunch of little issues on my trip here one morning - the kiosk had a glitch and ended up having my card... charged twice, but I was assured only one charge would go through. A couple of days later, I saw both charges go through so Iwent after work to ask for a refund and they weren?t able to find my order initially but again assured me they would refund me.Later that evening I called to check and I called twice after 8 pm to avoid peak times but no one answered both times. The mainreason this ultimately is a positive review is because of the morning manager Jill - I ended up calling again the next morningand she answered quickly and remembered me as the person who had been charged twice and immediately offered to refund my moneyand was really gracious. If every manager at this location were as responsive and reliable as she is, this place would for surehave only 5 star reviews. Also, the two cashiers I dealt with were also very professional and seemed like they genuinely wantedto help me. The latte is very bitter. I got a vanilla one and it wasnt sweet. Ive been to other paneras and it tastes better there. I asked... them to put another pump of vanilla but barely tasted the difference. Their cane sugar packets are quarter filled, its verybizarre. Also ordered a scone online the other day, and it never came up on the system when i came to pick it up. They had tomanually look up the order to see that i had indeed placed the order. Updated May 2022: On multiple instances, I have received stale whole baguettes (when I order the family feast meals) and stale... hard as rocks petite chocolate chippers. I always use the mobile order pickup and I think they use these opportunities to getrid of old products. They should put freshness dates on the items they have on the shelf and then purge items that aren?t fresh.I had to get the petite chocolate chippers for an event to make ice cream sandwiches and it was so upsetting no one could bitethrough them! ???????- Panera has so much potential but I am constantly disappointed. I ordered for curbside pickup today andno one ever came out. I tried calling and no one picked up. I had to race in with the screaming children under 3 in the car toget it myself. Then I go home and open the large $9 order of Mac and cheese and it was half full (see pic). Not even kidding.Their ingredients are good (fresh baked bread, nice meat and cheese) but the sandwiches are always haphazardly thrown togetherand they skimp on the fillings. A half sandwich will have a sliver of cheese. Panera is not cheap. They would get more ordersand customers if their portions were bigger and if sandwiches were more carefully made. Panera has a great selection of food and drinks which are all delicious! The Sips subscription is awesome! I do not mind... grabbing a few items off the menu when going in for my sips every now and then. My only wish is that Panera opened at 6 AM. Ifthey did, I would have definitely kept my subscription to their sips program. I just go to work too early to grab it in themorning so I do not think it is worth it for me. I will miss it. Read more
