We drove 40 minutes to try Dog & The Bank, and it was well worth it. We tried the oysters and two different steaks, and... everything was absolutely wonderful. The filet I had was well seasoned and juicier than other filets from dedicated steakhouses. The restaurant also makes use of local suppliers which is very nice. The interior of the restaurant is well designed andattractive, but the other reviews mentioning the noise level are unfortunately accurate. It did not significantly detract fromthe meal but someone with hearing difficulties may struggle to hold a conversation. Read more

Great meals with 2 drawbacks, which prevented me from making this a 5 star rating. My wife and I had the Sliced Fillet Mignon... and The Red Grouper. Both most expensive items at $36 each. Both were very good. The drawbacks? First was excessive noise frombanging of pots and plates behind the bar made it very difficult to hold a conversation. The second was dessert we decided tohave because dinner was sooo good. I love bread pudding so tried it. It?s always served hot like it?s fresh from the oven. Thiswas was warm with a really cold core. Both of these items gave our party the distinctive impression that the staff really wantedto leave early this Saturday night. Over all a positive experience and we will return. However if they want to obtain my full 5stars you will need address these last 2 items. Read more

AWESOME FOOD! This was my first time and we came for brunch and it was amazing. We tried 5 different meals and all of them were... soooo good. We tried the Dutch baby pancake, Crab Benedict, California Omelet, Little Jerry's sandwich and fingerling potatoesand were not disappointed. I highly recommend if you enjoy great food. Read more

One of the best dining events in a while. Atmosphere is upbeat and modern. The service was off the charts, our server could not... have been more friendly or more attentive. And the food was outstanding. I had the red grouper and my wife had the Ora kingsalmon. The grouper was one of the best fish dishes I have ever had and my wife's salmon was similarly wonderful. Our friend'sfood was excellent as well and they were delighted with Dog and the Bank. We WILL be back for sure! Read more

Went here for my birthday and we were not disappointed. Everything about this place is perfect. The atmosphere is so lively and... inviting. Yes, it?s louder than many restaurants in the area, but the buzz of the kitchen, bar, and other patrons makes it feellike you?re in a vibrant city. If you go in knowing that it will be more lively, I think you?ll embrace and enjoy theatmosphere. The owners, chefs, and waitstaff have worked together to curate this experience. The food and service areimpeccable. We spoke with the owner and staff for quite a while after our delicious meal. They all have very interestingbackgrounds in the service industry, which culminates in the fantastic experience that is the Dog and the Bank. I can?t wait tobring friends and visitors here!
