The good: we had had a reservation for 7:30P but the hostess took us in at 6:00P. The restaurant wasn’t jammed packed as... usual for this area on a Saturday probably for a good reason. The bad: Our waiter started great, gave us a fun fact about thewine we ordered, but all of the sudden, he went downhill. Never asked my wife if she wanted another cocktail, and was notupfront about the quality of their Saturday special. Brought me another equally salty veal Milanese after I sent it back. Theugly: Veal Milanese was salty beyond repair and soggy, just like the arrugula salad. Veal picatta portion size looked moreappropriate for the kids menu, pasta carbonara was very greasy, and quattro formaggi tortellini was covered in sweet cheesesauce, garnished with more sweet green peas. Advice for the manager: Charging customers an average of $30 a plate for thisegregious meal is not ok. I supported you guys through COVID and been dining with you since you guys opened in Plano. Princi-Plano was my go-to for a decent meal, in a sea of disappointments. You need to control the quality of what’s being putout to the customers. If you wouldn’t eat it, don’t serve it to people hoping they won’t notice. At your current pricepoint, we deserve way better. Read more

Some of the best authentic Italian food in Texas. The only things that didn’t go absolutely perfectly were a slight delay with... one order and the noise level of the restaurant. Everything else was perfect. Presentation, attentive staff, knowledgeable andaccommodating waiter, diverse and consistent flavors. Excellent through and through. The dish I can recommend most highly is thespaghetti bolognese, after that they are all spectacular and if you like lobster you should try it here. The pizza was a littleunder done for my preference (for a wood burning oven) but still cooked through nicely, just no crisp bite at the edge. Theprices are high but worth it for the main dishes both in quality and quantity. The salads are over priced. With these notes inmind I highly recommend trying it for yourself. You won’t be disappointed! Read more

The food was excellent but the service was dismal. I don't recommend this place. We waited 20 minutes before anyone even... brought water. Our waitress was in the weeds, as they were short staffed BUT she would attend to the nearby tables andcompletely ignore us. My friend and I split the bill and the waitress mixed up the billing - putting mine on my friend’scard, and vice versa. When she corrected it, she brought back incorrect copies. The hostess (manager?) was very apologetic, corrected the bills and comped us desserts to go. If they can get good waitstaff, I think this would be a great place. Untilthen, be prepared to sit for a long time and feel ignored. Read more

Always a great place for a power lunch. They have a nice portioned salad and pasta lunch special that is guaranteed you lunch is... done in 45 minutes or less (when Plano West gets busy and you're on a time crunch this is valuable!) When I need a nice, quicksetting this is a go-to place in Plano. Read more
