We went in for a early dinner on a Saturday (5ish). Not crowded. We enjoyed the atmosphere, music and decor. The ordering... process was interesting. The waitstaff greeted us, explained the ordering process and brought us water. Before anything else youmust scan the QR code for the menu to order food and drinks and complete payment with tip. Not very happy about that, considering the prices. Hopefully they have a physical menu for the technology challenged. Our drink and appetizers promptlycame out, our main course came soon after. And yes, everything was delicious. So why the 3 stars? They charge too much for whatthey're giving! They are skimpy with the protein and heavy on the carbs. The lamb chops were kind of small and we were verydisappointed in the medium sized shrimp, but we had tons of pasta. I also had a problem with prepaying and tipping while diningin, at those prices. To be clear, yes, I have prepaid for food before while dining in. And yes, I have dined at plenty of finedining restaurants. But I have never done them at the same time in the same place. Read more

This was a very good experience. It was my second time, and the food once again did not disappoint. I personally think that the... food is fairly priced, considering the portions and the fact that the sides are mostly big enough to share. My swai fish wasvery flavorful, perfectly cooked, and seasoned well. The mashed potatoes seemed a bit too salty, but the flavor was definitelythere. My significant other got the salmon, and it was delicious as well. We also got macaroni and cheese, rice, and thechocolate cake for dessert. All were excellent. The mac and cheese is INCREDIBLE. My only two minor complaints are as follows:newcomers to the restaurant may not like the fact that you pay for your food (including tip) before you actually get the food.If something is not to your liking, it seems that you?re just out of luck since you?ve already paid. Also, $2 for the small cansof soda is a bit of a stretch. However it is nice to be able to BYOB. I?d also suggest bringing some bread for the table. A lotof the foods have amazing sauces and seasonings that we can?t get off the plate because there?s no bread. Overall, I?d recommendthis place and I will definitely be coming again. Read more

I?m all for black businesses I?m not here to tear any striving business down I?m only hear to put my review and hopefully it?s... taken as a way to improve. First I want to say I paid 129.41 to eat here. The utensils and glasses were dirty. I understand thata business is starting off and everything isn?t perfect. Cleanliness should be PRIORITY! Now far as drinks I paid 2.00 for a candrink smh. I?m not downing the prices but it?s a bit pricey for entrees to come without sides?I know me revisiting wouldn?tmatter being that what wasn?t for me may be for someone else..It took a while to receive food as well ..I wish the ownersnothing but success but a lot needs to be improved..lastly you have to pay before you even get your food? Response to reply. She definitely exchanged the silverware . I was NOT the only customer that needed a glass or silverware exchanged. Price wasn?tthe issue honey..It was well within my budget but the things offered wasn?t worth it compared to others and supposedly it beingupscale..I apologize for leaving my experience here. As I said what wasn?t for me may be for others..Despite the reviews I stilltried you guys out..Lastly it?s my review and the quality of the food isn?t good..Be blessed???? The waiter was the only thinggood there that?s why we tipped her.. Read more

Ordered the fried ribs, no more than 3 min later the server brought them out from the kitchen. I was concerned with how fast... they came out. The ribs were old and just refried to heat up and serve. If you know anything about refried food the picture willclearly show that! They tasted like pure grease and to hard to bite into. Also ordered the chicken wings that were superoverpriced! $18 for a 5 piece wing ???? ($13 but if you want Henny glazed it?s an extra $5) Not even trying to be funny but TacoBell?s wings are better! These were flavorless and tasted like cheap chicken. They charge $5 for a 1oz side of Henny glaze, whenI ordered it at that price I thought I would get atleast like a small cup of the sauce. The henny glaze is nothing bout henny, honey and sugar. I dipped a piece of my shrimp in the sauce and all I could taste was sugar crystals! This whole menu is overpriced and the ordering process is ridiculous. I was very disappointed after seeing that the owner was actually the one cookingmy food, I?d expect him to take more pride in his food. I thought about complaining and bringing to to their attention. But withseeing how offended and defensive the get when people complain on IG i decided it wasn?t worth the argument. I was skepticalwith going after reading the other bad reviews and I should have saved my $80 cause my experience was VERY consistent with theother negative reviews. Let?s be real, this place is NOT even close to fine dining. They gotta stop worrying about a dress codethat doesn?t match their presentation and focus on the food and service. Read more
