Authentic street tacos tucked inside a gas station convenience store. The tacos Al trompo/ Al pastor were the highlight. The... tacos of lengua and tripa were very good. The ratio of meat to tortillas was on point. Read more

Food is fantastic! In store they have 10 trompo tacos for $10. It is really hard to beat. Their barbaco is almost like bone... marrow. The only bad thing about this place is the place. The gas station is not clean. Read more
Went there today with two work buddies. Two of us had the trompo plate (3 tacos al pastor, rice, and refried beans) and the... other guy had the trompo bowl with no rice. We all loved our food. Ever since I had some tacos al pastor in Mexico City 10years ago I had been looking for the equivalent here in Dallas. I had eaten a lot of phony al pastor, chunks of what seemed likeguisado de puerco and pineapple. Very few places had a real trompo and those that did were far from my workplace and home.Finally I stumbled onto this gem, tucked away behind the convenience store at a Valero. Gas station tacos--the best kind. There3 somewhat smallish tables so go early if you plan to eat there. By the time our food was ordered and ready there was a line outthe door (Friday @noon). Lots of takeout traffic. They do a brisk business. It's in a part of Plano that has more South Asiansthan Hispanics so you might be surprised about its location but there it is, un pedacito del D.F. in the heart suburban Dallas.Go figure.????
