I suppose that Elia is the best Mediterranean restaurant in Pleasanton. I love the place due to the nicest food, qualified... staff, and friendly services. Outstanding! The ambiance, outdoor seating, attention from our server Zach, & of course the quality of the food was great! They... were able to accommodate my gf needs. This was by far our best meal on our vacation in Pleasonton/Livermore CA. We started offsharing the slow braised Lamb riblets & the grilled octopus ...both delicious. A bottle of wine that was great too. Although thewine prices are higher. We decided to share for 3 of us 2 mains and it was plenty of food. Let's start with the ambiance, because it's fantastic! So much attention to detail on decor, plants, even the beautifully... coordinated blankets for the seats outside. ?? We tried smelt and salad for starters. A light and airy greek white wine thatwas recommended by our server and of course, saganaki :) all great! For main course, we had mousaka. Not very heavy on sauce,pretty tasty. Wrapped up dinner with baklava, just the right level of sweetness. Long story short, you will enjoy theexperience and food. Try it!! Read more
This is relatively a new place and they are really well designed. The ambiance and the location is great the staff are... incredible and overall experience is perfect. Now I am giving 4 stars because I have had many amazing Greek food in my life andI would put them in good range for sure but for the price and compared to the level of the experience the food was not up topar.
