Replaced a pho place. Large interior with plenty of seating. Menu has many traditional American Chinese dishes but also has... many Shanghai specialities. Pricing is good, quantities are large and quality is pretty good. Still says "soft launch" on thesign but has been open for weeks. Read more

Went on a Saturday night and it was pretty slow. Service was decent and the food pretty good. The green onion pancakes were on... the thin side, not much to chew on. The only thing that made me mad was that they charged for tea without telling me. Wewalked in and the first thing they asked before we sat down was if we wanted tea or water. Since Shanghainese food tends to beon the greasy side, we opted for tea. I'm not opposed to being charged, I just want to know about it before I get the bill. Read more

We had dinner here Sunday night during its soft opening. They are still working out the kinks so I am just going to stick to the... good stuff. Shanghai Dumpling House feels like an authentic Shanghai Chinese restaurant. The dumplings were pretty much whatyou?d expect - I could eat a few dozen at a sitting, but the star of the show so far was the cold sesame noodles which were morelike cold chili noodles. I didn?t have the pan-fried pork buns but they looked amazing so will have to try nexttime. Everything else was pretty good. I look forward to coming back to try more of the menu. Read more

My husband and I had a soup, dumpling, and main course. All were tasty. We could clear ly taste the vinegar in both the hot &... sour and sweet & sour dishes. The hot & sour was nicely hot -- believe the menu when it marks a dish as spicy. The bowl of soupwe shared turned out to be larger than we expected -- more like soup for 6-8. The service was good during the early lunch hourof our visit. My husband is very prone to MSG reactions to Chinese food but is having no problem with the dishes we ordered. Read more

Very good food especially for the price. Extremely busy 20 minutes after opening. A wide variety of dishes. In the midst of... soft opening so service was a bit off (dishes arriving out of order) but still prompt service. The owner replied but this wasmeant as a compliment as it is a soft opening and though the dishes were out of order it was still very prompt and most arrivedwithin 5-10 minutes. Read more
