We?ve been to Friendly?s a few times this past year, while travelling in the US. This one in Plymouth, MA, like the others, is... decorated in a 1950s? style and is very bright and comfortable. Unfortunately, the food is really not very good. We had theopen faced turkey sandwich on brioche (I think it was brioche) but the turkey tasted like it was taken out of a deli package andslapped on a very stale and thin slice of toasted bread. The potatoes and corn were fine, and the ice cream is always fabulous. Our waitress was lovely, friendly, and bubbly. All of the wait staff we?ve had at different locations have been, well,friendly? but the company has to improve their menu items. Read more

Friendly's are rare. I miss them, for their chicken fingers. This place was very family oriented, and my waiter make the trip... friendly and welcoming. My dashing wife and I stopped in at 8pm on a Friday night in April after dropping our 45-going-on-14 year old son off at the ice... rink down the way with his friends for a few hours.. We had the place to ourselves, and we felt terrible for making the staffstick around right up til closing when we realized that they close at 9, but they were great about it. I went in to friendly with my grandchildren and I ordered a burger for myself and told her no mayonnaise cause I was allergic... and my burger came out with mayonnaise so they had to remake it it took forever to get it and then they charged me for twoburgers when I called they told me to come in and get the money that they owed me for the second burger that I never receivedAnd I said I could not get there right away will they remember next week and she said yes so I called today to let them know Iwas coming tomorrow and she told me that she wasn't giving me my money back that she was going to give me a voucher.
