While our meals were very good, we were treated very poorly by the staff. After calling to make a reservation, I was told that... the bar area is first come, first served. We arrived in the bar to take a table and we?re told that we actually had to check inwith the hostess to be seated at the bar?..so NOT first come first served. But more importantly, the hostess made me feel likea fool for trying to take a seat. Our waitress was equally rude to us when my husband asked for his burger to be cooked alittle more on the well side. There was not much hospitality to be had at Six Burner Bistro! Great little place. Had one of their dinner specials of the evening which was lobster over homemade pasta with a delicious... sauce. However, the lobster was obviously previously frozen and beyond over cooked. That part of the meal was flavorless andchewy. Very disappointing. Hey folks, this is New England?..we know fresh lobster! One of our favorite Friday night spots. Last night's charcuterie board was lovely and the chef-made pickle stole the show. Nice... job Chef Sam. Bobby's Manhattan's are also the best start to the weekend. We love this place. Read more
