Salad and dessert was fairly good, but the entree had NO flavor whatsoever. Italian food should have a lot of flavor with... garlic, basil, oregano, herbs and spices, but the Mariana had NO flavor or spices, so I tried adding salt and crushed red pepperto add some flavor, but it did not help much. We'd heard great things about this place and were looking forward to it. I was startled on my first bite that the crust reminded... me of a frozen pizza, like Red Baron, perhaps. My wife agreed. I ordered the small old time pizza for lunch. The server said it came with a salad but it was a big salad. He talked me into a... smaller salad. When I received the check the smaller salad cost me $4.95! I asked about it and he said that he should have beenmore clear, and just shrugged and said he was sorry! From the outside, this place looks a little run down, so I was a little skeptical. However, from the moment I met the owner,... Buddy, I was sold! He recommended the sausage sandwich with a Buddy's salad (not my typical go-to Italian food, but okay). Withsausage made right there in the restaurant, my ideal of what an Italian sausage sandwich should be changed forever! So good!Furthermore, it's a salad, with dressing, it is what it is, right?
