Empty place on a busy Saturday in the downtown area, however Offshore got good reviews. The menu was a little confusing and the... two working had a tone like we should "already know" how they serve things while we were ordering. The food took incrediblylong, but we thought it was going to be good. WRONG. I included photos because I would have appreciated someone else postingthem so that I knew what not to order. I wouldn't fathom anyone's idea of a grilled cheese being burnt bread on the outside andcold cheese on the inside. Didn't even have the smoked flavor described on the menu. The Mac and Cheese should just be labeled"mac" because it was dried out and tasteless. I also ordered a sandwich, big slices of bread with soggy meat and sauce on theside. Alot of money and we threw everything away. We didn't bother saying anything because we were treated poorly to begin with.Always go to a place that's busy, lesson learned. Read more
I really wanted to like this place but it was a complete let down. I came here with a group of people based off of a... recommendation by a local pizza shop owner down the street. I should have known something was off when I came here on aSaturday afternoon and it was dead while all of the surrounding restaurants were packed. The experience with the staff wasamazing. They were very friendly and explained the menu in detail. They were attentive the entire time but not overbearing. Thefood on the other hand, left much to be desired. I ordered the Turkey sandwich, brisket sandwich, coleslaw, Mac and cheese, andsweet tea. Both sandwiches were dry and I had to slather the Turkey in the homemade sauce to give it some life. The Mac andcheese - I don?t really know what to say other than it lacked flavor and there was no cheese pull - at all. The coleslaw was thebest part of the meal. Worst lunch Ever!!!!! The pulled pork and mozz was burnt on both sides. Not slightly burnt, but inedible burnt. Mac n cheese was... the worst I ever had. Overcooked and zero seasoning. Nothing creamy and cheesy about it. Right in the garbage. Called thebusiness and received a rude guy who wouldn?t give his name. Said that?s how it comes and hung up on me. Very professional???????? Food was great. Ordered half pound of brisket and half pound of pull pork to go and totally enjoyed the meat. However I have an... issue with the portion size. When we got home looking at the meats it does not look like I have a pound of food. We put it onthe scale and we got about 12 ounces of meat.
