We went for my birthday dinner. We had the octopus appetizer-weird sauce, but it was ok. My husband had the ahi tuna dish. Very... delicious. I had the filet mignon. Also very good, but the side order of Demi glacé was weird. It did not have mushrooms in it;was too thick and had a weird, ginger taste. I had to ask the waitress if it was what I ordered. My son’s NY strip was notgood. Too much gristle and fat. It looked like a cheap cut of meat that you would serve at a chain restaurant, not a specialtysteakhouse. The crème brûlée was nice. The food was excellent. The prices were fair for a steakhouse. The restaurant was packed now in the off-season on a weekend... night. The service staff was attentive. Unfortunately, we had to wait 1 hour and 35 minutes for our steaks from the time that weordered them. What a shame. Obviously, they did not have enough cooks. Make your reservation at 5:30 or 8:30.
