A great place to sit by the water and have great food. The management and servers were extraordinary and very attentive. I've... seen a band there one other time. The only drawback was for the band....they need an awning type cover for shade from the sun.At least there were fans. Read more

Service here is about as poor as it comes. We ordered appetizers and our drinks at the same time. We received 1/2 of our... appetizers and after it had been quite some time, I asked the server if she had forgot to enter the other appetizer. Herresponse was "Oh, I forgot to tell you, we're out of that. Did you want something else?" We browsed the menu and replaced it fora different item. Here's where we really got the "you're on island time vibes" where it was clear there was no timeliness togetting service. After another 15-20 minutes of sitting with empty beverages, a member of our party placed an order for a secondround of drinks directly with the bar. One of the drinks was improperly made (whiskey instead of a rum) so we notified ourserver. The bartender came to our table and made it apparent that while she was a different person than who made the firstround, they made the drinks the same way. We were clearly perplexed as the drinks were not made the same and it felt as if thebartender wanted to argue that we were somehow in the wrong because we were trying to correct her on the liquor that should beused to make the drink we ordered. She modified the drink and returned it to us, but it was clear that this member of our partywas not satisfied but opted to drink the beverage in order to avoid any further hassle. We were now well over an hour intowaiting for our main course and still hadn't received our food. We questioned our server about it and her response was "Wellthey said they brought out your food." Obviously we hadn't we received our food and her lack of noticing that we hadn't receivedour food was another ding in her attentiveness to us.(I mean seriously, you fill your own water cups from the provided water jugso all the wait staff are responsible for is taking drink/food orders and running the food.) No one greeted us. Just sat ourselves. It took about 10 minutes for our server to come over. She asked if we'd been helped. She... apologized, couldn't have been nicer and provided good service. Bar food was pretty good. Fountain Coke was a little flat for myhusband and glass was a small serving compared to other places. Beautiful scenery. Located inside the saylorville marina. Kids had fun feeding the fish by the lake. Our waitress approached us... fast. Waited about 15 min for food. Not bad considering the restaurant was full. However our food could've been better. The fishtacos were bland, the tortillas were hard (like they didn't heat them up long enough). My grilled chicken sandwich was bland aswell. The table next to us ordered the bistro burger and it did look better but I can't say if it was good or not.
