Customer service was lacking. Young girl missed the order and told us we needed to ask for items (that were in the meal ordered)... to be given. Not friendly at all and appeared to be working against her will. Would rate 0 stars if possible. Read more
Fish chowder was good, pea soup was not great. Peas still hard, more carrots and potatoes than anything else, each soup came... with a roll that had been severely heated in a microwave, too hot and rubbery. So due to a wildly rainy evening we gave thisplace a second chance, ordered steamed mussels. They arrived well after the accompanying onion rings and my partners meal, cold,and that was it....steamed, no broth of any kind, just a pool of cold water and nuked butter on the side. People were nice. Food was reasonable. Prices were a little high, but within reason.
Sketchy vibes walking in with staff not wearing masks. The food may have even been ok!? but we couldn?t stomach the Trump sign.... I wish they put the sign in the front window so we didn?t waste our time. Read more

Wonderful seafood. The chowder is magnificent and the Dorset Basket and the Maritime Archaic Platter provide a nice sampling of... Newfoundland cuisine and more than enough for 2 people. Read more
Great for travelers. The Sea Echo Motel is attached. Pub on the other. Sunday is local talent night. Food was really good. I had... the seafood Archaic plater. Cod, salmon, fish cake, Mussels, Shrimp, Cod Tongues Scallops and halibut if they have it. Youbetter be hungry. 2 tv's have great slideshows running with lots of scenic and local wildlife and sealife pictures. Read more
I must have made a great impression as a dumb tourist. Some friends and I were driving from Deer Lake to L'anse aux Meadows and... we stopped on the way to get lunch. Because the restaurant hosts the pizza place, we got an eclectic assortment of sandwiches,fish and pizza. The young woman that was working the cash and taking orders greeted everyone coming in during the lunch hour byname while the four of us were eating our own random buffet. The food was good, prices were good and the drive into the townwas very picturesque. I hope I will be able to return one day. Read more
