Passing through Louisiana and found this gem on Yelp. I wanted something ?authentic?, and from a non-chain, Mom and Pop diner.... The staff was excellent and very helpful. We showed up later almost near closing time and they more welcoming then otherplaces I?ve been. Food choice: Jambalaya and Gumbo seems like a good choice. Mix the two and you?ve got a good bowl ofGumbalaya. A very tasty bowl of chicken and sausage gumbo, great portions. It could have used a little more rice or jambalayaportion to it but overall, very good and heart warming food. Although I was hoping to have something with more of a spice,something with more Cajun.
