Good location and interior atmosphere. Close to the water the outdoor seating is nice and the smell from the smoker will whet... yer appetite. The staff is young and the service a little slow but worth the wait. Not a terribly good brew selection but goodenough. Not a mixed drink fan myself but they look tasty and I hear they're pretty good Many interesting pizzas to choose from.Not overly exotic toppings but unique combinations, and the smoked meats are the bomb. Nice crispy crust. Suggestion: make surethe waitress writes down your order. My waitress didn't and my pizza came with mushrooms which I specifically asked to not beput on my pizza. Read more
The pizza here is amazing. I?m not a pizza person but the pizzas here totally got me. The toppings, cheese combinations and... crust are absolutely perfect. The cheese platter and salad are also amazingly delicious. All meat toppings are homemade(smocked/grilled) by themselves, and chef is very friendly to us. The view of the port and sunset is cherry on top. 5/5 and ifgot chance, will def come again. Read more
Ive never left a bad review but this is necessary. Don?t waste your time coming here. For reference this was a Tuesday evening -... not a busy weekend. We sat at the bar and waited 15 minutes for the bartender to acknowledge us. Another 15 for drinks. Then wewaited an hour and a half for pizza that never came. At the 1.5 hour mark the bartender offered for the first time to check onour order. We said ?if it isn?t ready we?ll just pay for the drinks and leave.? Instead of checking on the pizzas he just cashedus out and said ?sorry it?s a weird Tuesday - sorry you aren?t sticking around. You picked some good pizzas.? We sat outside and the chairs were so low the table almost came up to our chins and we are not short people. I ordered a cheese... pizza and was so disappointed in what came to my table. Thin, dry crust, blah sauce and a smattering of cheese. I've never had apizza so bad. My husband ordered the Caesar Salad and the waitress informed him that the salad was loaded with real and abundantanchoivies, special croutons and dressed in a hand made dressing (not from a bottle). The salad he was served consisted of aplate of limp romaine lettuce bits, NO anchovies or croutons and with a light sprinkling of cheese. Absolutely horrible and inno way worth $13.00! Service was friendly but extremely slow. Two young ladies were not very busy as wait staff never check back with our table to... see if we could have used another drink, another appetizer, or even a refill on the water. Meanwhile the only person working inthe kitchen was totally overwhelmed by the job and had absolutely no help from anyone. Had a nice martini while waiting, theglass is very deceptive in the small quantity of drink it actually contains. About a 45 minute delay waiting for pizza theyadvertise is cooked in 2 minutes. After the long delay, the food was delivered to the wrong table and the people ate the pizzaeven though it wasn't what they ordered. While the people who received our pizzas were offered free replacements, we werecharged full price for the appetizer and our drinks, without even so much as an insincere apology. Even their credit cardreceipt is something to comment on: rather than allowing a customer to decide how much of a tip they believe the servicewarrants, their receipts contain check blocks to provide a 20, 25, or 30% tip.
