The outside of this place does NOT do it justice. It's next to (or part of?) a Days Inn in the midst of the Port Charlotte rt41... shopping crawl, and has a fairly tacky "Nightly Live Jazz" sign out front. So, don't be shocked when you go in and discover thatthis really is a fine dining establishment. While you don't have to go in with proper attire, you'll feel more in-place if youdon't go in with shorts and a T-shirt. Food is pretty good, although portion sizes might be a bit surprising. But, the "bigdeal" is the live music. Such great atmosphere and varied performers! Prices are a bit strange, which is why I knocked a staroff. You don't pay for admission, so you can't complain. They have small and large portions. It feels to me like the smallreally is "small" for the price, and large is maybe way more than you'd expect. So, my critique is less that it's "pricey", butmore that it's hard to know which portion size to get. Read more

Found this place thanks to Open Table. We were greeted by name at the front door. It only got better from there. “The Chad”... was our server and were we in for a treat! He had great input to help me decide between the Tuscan shrimp, the ahi tuna and thefillet. He was very attentive, checking on us often and offering things before we even realized we needed them. The Husband hadthe fillet and it was worth ordering. It’s hard to find a fillet at a restaurant that compares to what we can grill at home. This one did. Excellent pea risotto and don’t pass up the goat cheese appetizer! Try the lava cake for me. I was too full toorder it but I hear it’s amazing with the house made ice cream. Enjoy! Read more

My husband and I went Saturday night as a special Father’s Day date. WOW, what a gem! The atmosphere was inviting, clean and... the wait staff were 1st. rate. The host was so friendly. He gave us a little history of the restaurant. The entertainer was anolder gentleman that sang and played the guitar.. He was a great performer and his music just complimented our dinner. This is atrue Adult night club. I like the idea of listening to live music and having a drink at the bar. We definitely plan to becomeregulars. I would highly recommend this place for us senior set. Excellent ???????????????? Read more

At first, when we walked in we felt out of place because it’s an older crowd. But, the atmosphere was great! Music was good,... decorations were delightful and the food…….. AMAZING!!! The chef was out walking around a bit and I spoke to him briefly. Hesaid he’s only been there a month and has plans to add all kinds of new menu items that sounds amazing too!! Our waitress,April was fantastic and very attentive. All around a wonderful experience. Highly recommend Read more

Dinner This was out second trip to the restaurant and it was as good as the first time. We made a reservation and we actually... were seated at the time we reserved. This usually does not happen at other restaurants. The service was great and the foodarrived quickly. I started with the mushroom soup, which tasted great. The entree for me was the braised beef, my wife had thechicken Florentine, my sister went with the pork with linguine and capers. My brother-in-law had the same as I did. All mealstasted great and were presented very nicely. We all ended with the Crème brûlée. This was great as well. The top was a tadoverdone, would be my only negative. We had the two for fixed price so the meals were a great price. Definitely willreturn! On 5/20/22: Back this week for a special dinner. At this point changing my rating to 3 stars. So the great deal on thefixed price menu is gone. Sad to see this happen. The place is still great with music, ambiance and service. The menu ismissing many of my favorites, risotto, osso buco, others gone. That risotto we expected was gone. We ordered two things to try.Brazed beef was good but the Mac and cheese was cold. The server attempted to warm up, it came back when we were finished themeal 15 minutes later… still barely warm. I took it home to doctor up and heat. The crème brûlée was still good but seems abit thicker. We still like the place but not real satisfied with the food and menu missing some favorites. The service wasgreat and we enjoyed the evening. We look forward to see if items make it back to the menu. Lumpy mashed potatoes is not asubstitute for risotto. Read more
