Absolute gem! Love this authentic Japanese family run sushi restaurant. My friends and I have eaten sushi of all quality and... price points from Asia and North America and this place does not disappoint. Their pricing is super on the low end but theirquality and selection is amazing. They get their fish fresh from Japan and their 10pc nigiri omakase is beyond amazing at only$42!! You can get a similar deluxe nigiri set from Octopus garden at $80 but this place totally takes it at value! This placeis in a quiet place in Coquitlam but totally worth the drive from downtown Vancouver. Highly recommend this place!!! If i could give this place a 6 star, i would have. We ordered deluxe sashimi, 4 bluefin tuna supertoro sushis, 2 madai sushis, 2... kinmedai sushis, and 2 negitoro temakis. The deluxe sashimis were comparable to what I had in Osaka, especially the ika andhotate. The bluefin tuna supertoro sushis were out of this world. Fatty, complex, and super delicious. The negitoro temaki wasthe best I have ever had ????????????, even compared to the ones I had in Osaka, Kyoto, and Awaji Island. Apparently the chefadded bluefin tuna supertoro inside the negitoro temaki. Definitely unforgetable experience, especially with Hugo's exceptionalservice. I wonder if we have another hidden gem like this in Greater Vancouver! Read more
