We decided to order turkey dinner this past Thanksgiving weekend from Food Inspired & we were not disappointed! It was a... fabulous meal with all the fixings + apple pie & whipped cream for dessert! Had a lovely experience here. We were on a road trip from Toronto and the guide we were using suggested a couple other places in... the vicinity. We walked into both places but we weren?t too pleased with either, so decided to go to Food Inspired across thestreet. The place is clean, modern and spacious and there are a wide variety of goodies to choose from. We ordered the chickenpesto panini and a spinach and feta pastry. Both were delicious! My friend and I sat outside at the bistro style tables andenjoyed the food with our coffee (cappuccino was amazing) and then went back inside for the yummy gelato. After tasting a coupleflavours, I chose the boozy tiramisu gelato and I loved every bit of it. We also bought some maple butter to take home, which Ihave yet to try, but I have no doubt it will be wonderful. Will definitely be back next time I visit Port Hope! Read more
Port Hopes best kept secret. We love grabbing espresso beverages from here on the weekends and now gelato - highly recommend the... hazelnut. The spinach pastry at the counter are sooo delicious and I can?t leave the store without buying one. It?s great placeto pick up foodie items for gift baskets too. The sidewalk patio seats are perfect for enjoying a snack and beverage in thesun. Loaded up on some prepared meals for the family on the way to the cottage. Mac and Cheese was a hit. And the Mrs. and I made a... beauty charcuterie board for the cottage neighbours with some of the cheeses and goodies we picked up. Bacon Jam - yep. Shouldbe it?s own food group. This was such a gem of a find! The store is super cute and the owner was amazing. We got a alondon fog and flat white and both... were freshly prepared with an espresso machine.
