We've been coming to Bagel Brothers of New York since they opened. Some of the best bagels, food, atmosphere, and service we... were accustom to. Atmosphere and service leaves much to be desired. So sad to be dealing with the chaos and crammed store withno room. Their new location absolutely SUCKS .... THE LAYOUT IS SO NON-USER FRIENDLY, YOU CANNOT SEE THE FOOD DISPLAYED. ONCETHERE'S ALWAYS A LINE AND THEY HAVE IT SET UP, IT DOESN'T FLOW. THE ORIGINAL LOCATION THE LINE WAS PHENOMENAL. YOU ORDEREDFOOD, WE SAT DOWN, AND YOU WAITED FOR A YOUR ORDER TO BE CALLED. THAT'S NOT HAPPENING AT THIS LOCATION .... THE ONLY GREATPART ABOUT THIS PLACE IS THE OUTSIDE SEATING AREA, BUT THAT IS SUBJECT TO THE WEATHER PARKING IS NOWHERE NEAR AS NICE AS THEBIG OPEN PARKING LOT WHERE THEY WERE ORIGINALLY AT. DONNA STILL REMAINS THERE TO MAKE SURE THE ORDERS GET STRAIGHTENED OUT. THANK GOD FOR DONNA! I'm sure the food will be as good as it always has been, but when we get home, we will see? Because ofthe setup, the lines were outrageously long even after getting there at 7:00 am this morning .... They have an awesome selection of Bagels and a great menu. The store is very clean and has a nice decor with a friendly staff.... The bacon egg and cheese was excellent and it reminded me of New York. Great Bagel place! Read more
I will preface this by saying I am a bagel lover from NY and finding a good bagel place is always a priority for me where I... live, like trying to find good pizza. I thought this was that place by they keep letting me down. I just called the new locationto order for pickup, the girl answered with ?please hold? and then I waited 15 minutes before finally hanging up. Then Iremembered that 2 weeks ago that I waited for 20+ minutes for a toasted bagel with lox cream cheese and a toasted plain bagelwith cream cheese, then saw multiple people behind me in line get their meals. When I asked the front desk lady about my foodthey spent the next 5 minutes trying to figure it out before finding that it was already ready and bagged up waiting for me. IfI didn?t ask, they would have likely never grabbed it. I?m reviewing this in the hopes the owner understands that their customerservice is TERRIBLE and I?m just about done with this place. My husband and I are visiting in Port St Lucie and came to Bagel Brothers of New York for a late breakfast looking forward to a... hot freshly made breakfast sandwich. Yes it was very busy and chaotic in a very small space, staff rushing around and notfriendly. Being from NJ and NYC areas it is worth the wait. The coffee was very good, however I wanted an iced coffee but theydidn't have any ice. We both ordered a 2 egg, cheese and meat (1 pork roll, 1 ham) on a kaiser roll. We were disappointed withwhat was served. The kaiser roll was not toasted. It was cold and at least a day old, it was chewy and dense, not light andairy. There was only 1 egg and 1 thin piece of meat on each sandwich and no cheese. It would not have been worth our time towait in line again to get what we ordered. We do not recommend coming here. Been going to Bagel Brothers since they opened. By far the best bagels in town but they are almost becoming not worth the... hassle. The new location is HORRIBLE! It?s even more crammed and small than the last place and doesn?t flow at all! 3 differentplaces to order and the other 2 push you all the down the the last line even though I was just getting something to go. Can?tsit and wait for your order like at the other location instead you have to stand there like sardines either blocking thebathroom, or the drink station. Also you can barely see the displays here to know what bagels they have and what?s available.Parking is also a nightmare!
