Not impressed. Food was cold. Some of the food they gave us looked like scraps. We asked for smoked wings and they where fried.... We asked for a manager it took her 30 mins to get there. She was trying to give everyone free dessert. And when she was told noshe still pushed it a little. When I spoke up and said it was unacceptable more needed to be done. That's when she startedtaking care of the bill. Ita not like we spend cheap money, we spent almost 200.00 ( this is not even 1/2 of it all) Read more

They have a large menu with many tasty options! My Cajun chicken sandwich with fries were great and my friend loved the fried... pickles. The food is good here but service during lunchtime was extremely slow. It took 45 minutes to get our food. We werelate getting back to work because of it. Read more

Brewster's has good food, fairly quick service, reasonable prices and are located just off the freeway which makes them a... convenient stop if you are passing through the Portage area. Could have been a great meal, but...... it wasn't meant to be. After driving all day, coming up on Kalamazoo and we all got... really hungry. Looked up restaurants and this one popped up.... the thought of a nice slab of ribs and a cold beer sounded veryappealing. The place was not very busy, yet it took a long time for a plump, blonde waitress to show up. She came off as a bitrude, like she didn't want to be there. She seemed annoyed when I asked her what was on tap (there was no drink list anywhere). The beer I ordered smelled like a wet, dirty dog.... the waitress was a bit irritated when I asked for something else. The slabof St. Louis dry-rub ribs was..... eh. Mediocre at best. Not much flavor, they were cold, and far too fatty. Waitress did checkon us once.... and I did want another beer, but I was afraid to ask. Later, we waited and waited for the check... we seemed tobe on the "pay-no-mind list" at that point. I did see her walking around the bar, back and forth, but it didn't look like shewas doing very much. I finally had to walk up to her and ask her for the bill. The only reason I'm not giving this place onestar is because my family enjoyed their food.... but I did not. None of us were happy with the service. Otherwise, we won'tannoy her with our presence ever again, because we're never going back there. Read more

My wife and I went there for a celebratory dinner. She ordered a BLT with fried green beans as the appetizer and i myself... ordered the pepper jack cheese balls. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious! Service was slow, but not inattentive, the staffing "is only like 3" all in all a great evening with hard working and considerate staff. I will be back for more! Read more
