Tried out the Duckfat Frites Shack while having a beer at nearby Oxbow. Fries were perfectly fine although not particularly... noteworthy. Would have appreciated them being a little crisper. Convenient location, average food on this try. Read more
Visited on a Saturday, early evening? I was actually surprised they were open, as they had been closed for various reasons... (?special event? sign) over the previous 3 weeks when we dropped by. I had a small fries, which were extremely salty, to thepoint that we couldn?t finish them. Note - I like salt, so this is not the opinion of an anti-saltite. They were also a bitundercooked for my taste. Been here a few times pre-Covid and the fries were much better. Maybe an off night, but having read afew other reviews lately citing over salted fries, I thought it was worth noting in my review, too. Read more
Walk up ordering made it quick and easy. Their lobster roll which came on a burger bun was super tasty. Also had the poutine... fries. Great, especially with the pork belly added. Read more
Delicious poutine (with duck confit/egg). Easily the best I?ve had. The cheese curds were the start surprisingly. Also got a... shake for $9. Don?t waste your money. HUGE rip off. Small shake that was fine. A fair price for it would have been $4.50. Wayoverpriced. The other food is really expensive also. Read more
