I've probably eaten at every sushi restaurant in Portland and this place has the best sushi in Portland, and quite honestly the... best sushi I've had in a long time. My wife is vegan (I'm not) and they have this roasted peanut and Avocado roll glazed with asweet sauce that was amazing. The restaurant itself is also very beautiful in the inside. Exceeded my expectations. It was the most flavorful sushi that I remember having. The volcano roll was perfect. The penguin roll... was a delight. A gòod problem to have is the size of the rolls. These are 3 times bigger then most other places. 1 roll is morethen enought. Get 2 anyway. Read more

This place is amazing. Fantastic food, service, location and atmosphere. The sushi portions are HUGE and very reasonably priced,... there?s never any weird hovering or judgment over eating out alone, and they have green tea ice cream!! This place was incredible to visit. Particularly the sweet potato sushi was my personal favorite. I forget the guy's name but... our waiter was incredibly friendly and was able to answer some questions I had. One word of warning I'd give is at the time wewent (typical dinner rush hour) we were told that the wait for sushi was pretty long due to online orders. So if you're in themood for sushi, maybe come an hour sooner/later. We will definitely be back! Read more
