Was there for a private event on the patio. Really good system for ordering drinks and getting them to their owners. Very... friendly wait staff. Lots of compliments on the pizza; I found the meats pretty spicy but the vegetarian one was great. Niceband playing on the patio as well. Think it would have been a good idea to mark off the area for the private party in a bettermanner as some customers of the restaurant didn't realize it wasn't an open buffet. Read more

Very, very over-priced for very simple, small portions. It was served in small cardboard dishes which made it nearly impossible... to maneuver the food. We had to wait for too long to even get drinks despite it being 4 PM on a Tuesday and not busy. When wefinished eating, we had to go to bar to close out our bill after waiting 15 minutes. 2 salads, cheese bread, and 2 drinkstotaled nearly $70! My kid could make better food than this place, for a fraction of the price. Read more

They have gone downhill since the last time we visited. I'm assuming the pandemic has caused some problems but the food is just... not worth it for the price anymore. You would be better off going to a chain restaurant at this point. The only positive I canshare is that the staff were very friendly and positive, even though you could tell they were working with less resources thanthey needed. Wait times were a bit in the long side but I'm pretty sure they were not to blame. They had a live band outsideand different music going on inside (very very minor gripe). They used paper cups for our drinks, both soda and coffee, anddidn't have a good selection of sweeteners. You can also tell how clean an establishment is by looking at their bathroomexhaust fan, I know it sounds strange, theirs was heavily caked with dust. Overall I would avoid Amalfi's unless your goingjust to have a cocktail or beer. Read more

So disappointed. We called early and were told "no reservations needed for parties under 10." However, when we arrived, the... dining room was full and we were directed outdoors. We were not dressed for outdoors. We sat for 3 minutes discussing whetheror not we should leave. I remembered a quality dining experience in the past, so I encouraged my companions to stay. We weresubjected to live music we didn't really enjoy because the sound system was over modulated and the band was too casual abouttheir performance. My sciatic nerve does not enjoy hard picnic table seats, and the party next to us was so drunk they werescreeching laughter over the sound of the music. My party couldn't even have a conversation. We wasted at least 5 minutestrying to figure out if we needed to order through their online app (register your email first? While hungry?) or should weapproach the window? We finally approached the window, waited in line, and then a nice fellow explained it was "either, whichever is easier." (Does anyone find that app easier? Maybe if English is your second language...) So we got our order in,which was cool, but then the desert came first. We laughed about that, ate the desert before the entre. The Sangria I orderedwas way too full and I spilled it on my eating surface. At one point a woman in a "Amalfi's family" shirt came and explainedthat the short staffing means she does better with outdoor seating than indoors. Some of us were seasoned veterans ofrestaurants and understood this to be a management issue. I was so disappointed I'll never be back. One problem? Okay. But allof this? Sorry, folks you've lost a long time fan. Read more
