Everyone enjoyed their food. I was surprised by how flavorful everything was, and the portions were plentiful but not excessive!... We ate outside the restaurant and they made sure we were comfortable. Read more
Food is good, but the manager is something else. My partner and I were regulars at that point, tipped every time and we?re very... nice. She came by slowly cleaning table outside until she was right next to us and said ?just so you know, I forgot to ring upone cup of horchata so the order total will be different next time? in an obviously condescending tone. I ended up just givingher the $2 she forgot to ring up at the end because of this penny pincher attitude which she happily took with a nasty look onher face. Also one taco is $4.50 now which is literally the most expensive I have ever seen, if they were fancy tacos ok sure,but they?re literally one tortilla not even two like any other Mexican spot in the area. Also they didn?t update the menus. Shereminds me of the old managers I had who did not care about customer service or their employees at ALL. I?ve never felt sodisrespected and looked down upon. Don?t give them your money, go to any other food cart in town thats $2 per taco that theyfill up nice n yummy because they care about more than stray pennies and dimes they could make off people. Get the Fajitas and the horchata! I?m biased because I love those things but it slaps for real. Decent Mexican food can be hard... to find in Portland but this spot is solid and the portions sizes are dope. Fajitas are saucy, don?t wear your white shirt lol. Read more
I hate to leave low reviews. Especially when I can tell the facility has very hard working staff. Didn't find the food... appealing or very good. The salsa had a strong lime flavor, perhaps too much tamarind. The beef fajitas had very small piecesof beef, cut thinner than the peppers or onion in a sauce that was very greasy. The beans were runny. The draft beer was verycold. That was nice. In addition, the staff seemed to work very hard. I don't think I will be back without an update to theirrecipes. Read more
