If you are here be sure to order you breakfast early and I my self would have it delivered to your room. We ordered breakfast... over a hour ago and still sitting here waiting. It is now 10 oclock. We ordered oatmeal and biscuits and gravy. Read more
Food was ok but service was lousy on a Saturday night. Staff just sat or stood around while customers waited and we very... lackadaisical about taking orders. My Cobb salad was as advertised but NOT a Cobb salad (lettuce, tomato, bacon bits, friedonions, cubed chicken, egg and shredded cheese - no avocado or blue cheese - weird. White wine was lukewarm. Husband?s fish andchips were good and loaded fries also good. Portions large. We gave the waitress some feedback about slow service and she wascompletely snooty for the rest of the encounter. Food was good, but I wish we had the view of the river and the mountains
The restaurant has changed locations with the new owner- Holiday Inn. It used to be located at the back of the hotel and offered... stunning views of the Columbia River, Mt St Helens and Mt Hood. But alas, they are rented out only for private groups. sigh. Still, the food was good. I had two eggs, sausage, potatoes and toast and husband had biscuits and gravy. Both were good, servedhot with friendly server. Two entrees and two coffees was $30 without tip. You order at the cash register and then seat yourselfin a large dining area and a server brings your food. Or you can take out. Plenty of parking, and restrooms available. My husband and I were staying at the hotel that houses this restaurant. While exploring the massive property, we happened to... stop through just to casually see what was on the menu. I eat about 99.9% vegan and I?m used to having to make do with little tono options from random restaurants. Didn?t have to do that at ALLL here! I off-handedly mentioned my dietary restrictions andthe staff (John, Kali and Chris) were awesome! They were able to suggest an impromptu delicious option for me on the spot! Myhusband wasn?t even going to get something to eat but John was super knowledgeable about their offerings and ended up orderingfood as well. Very rare to find such fantastic customer service.
