Mikasa is hit or miss. Only 1 staff person can plate sashimi. The rest don?t even know the difference between sashimi and... sushi and there is no artistry. Horseradish ?wasabi? and no Shiso is a downside. I chalked it up to the COVID years but it?sstill very inconsistent. The one woman who is good is apparently not training the guys. Read more
Ramen for me is a 5/10 - so I wouldn?t come back for that particular menu item?like really, half an egg for a $16 bowl of ramen?... Broth was good, but nothing to boast about. The sushi roll was decent, but wasn?t a fan of the sauce they added on top. The starof the show was the gyozos?probably one the the best I?ve had in a while. 2.5 star rating - probably won?t come back. Hands down the best sushi I've had ever!! The rolls were inventive, fresh, and delicious!! I had a peach sake that was equally... unexpectedly delicious! Chill atmosphere, counter service but speedy. Now I have to drive to St. John's for my sushi fix.. ohwell, it's worth it! Read more
