This is my favorite New Seasons. The parking situation is much better than the Sellwood location. There's usually a spot on... Woodstock, otherwise there's almost always a place to park in the below ground garage. Everyone here is so helpful! Read more
This is a really solid new seasons, and it is one of the newer ones in Portland. At first, I wondered if New Seasons would... attract enough people since they already exist over on 21st, and Hawthorne but wow, this store seems to be 3 x as busy as thoselocations. Again, another business where I shop because nice people work there. Employees can make or break a company and I have been quick... to go elsewhere in some cases. 90% of New Seasons locations I've been to don't have that vibe. I've shopped at this locationsince it was built. And I still ride my bicycle there from time to time, even though I don't live or work nearby anymore, ifthat's a testament. And on that note, this location has underground parking, which includes a spot specifically for bicycles.I've included a photo of the funky cool art sign showing where to park and lock it up. I've locked my bike many times (it'sworth a lot). It's a secure spot. And if you don't trust it, there are plenty of classic and standard sidewalk spots to lockyour steel horse. Read more
This was the second time in a year I was shocked by an employee being hostile to me when I asked for help. It is unsettling... because normally, it seems like a mellow environment. I complained to management but am going to delete them from my groceryshopping options.When I go in, I am in a receptive decision making mindset and it is the last place I would expect to betreated with disrespect. Leadership is lacking from what I can see. Maybe they do not communicate with employees to check in andbe supportive to staff. I definitely got caught in whatever dysfunctional staff system is operating there and will never shop atany New Seasons again. Their branding states it is "The Friendliest Store in Town".
