My husband brought us here for our anniversary. We found the staff to be all very nice and the food was delicious! Yes, portions... are small but that's kinda the point and everything was so flavorful! Final bill (4 food items and 2 drinks) came out to about$90, and it worth every penny! Very chill vibe. Definitely want to come back to try some more things on thier menu! Also,would highly recommend the Tanigawa drink! It's $25 but so unique!! Worth trying at least once! Read more
legendary! this place has been on our list for quite some time now and we finally were able to try it out. everything was... delicious. the pork kakuni, cod, and grill dishes were some of the best i?ve had. honestly there was not a bad dish. i only wishthe portions were a tad bit bigger. Read more
Absolutely the best Japanese restaurant/ restaurant in the town. Amazing food! Kind staff. Don't be discouraged by the small... sized plates. It is about quality over quantity. Our favorites are the scallops and chicken karage. Great place to go on aromantic date. You have beautiful seating area outside the shop, particularly gorgeous in the evenings. Read more
The food and ambience were good, but everything else was unsatisfactory. The portions were tiny, especially at that price point.... Our bill came to be almost $300 for 4 people and we weren't even half full. We went for a second dinner afterward. The waitresswas rude and didn't seem to want to help us, probably because of the mandatory 20% tip so her pay didn't depend on the serviceshe provided to us. It took her 1 hour to finish helping us pay (she didn't look that busy either). Although the food was great,it wasn't AMAZING. Would not recommend. Read more

11/27/2022: Takibi is attached to the Snow Peak HQ and is as beautifully designed as the Snow Peak showroom. Lots of wood,... clean lines, and crisp. Our group of 4 practically ordered everything on the menu. Just a few highlights about our meal: - Thestaff was friendly and prompt - Karaage was spot on! Very crisp, lightly friend, tender - We ordered the poutine at the lastminute and so glad we did because the curry over the fries with the curds were delicious - Tonkatsu nicely fried with crunchypanko and juicy meat Overall really great experience.
