This small breakfast spot is filled with memories, good vibes and great food! If you're a first timer, the alert, able staff... will make you feel like you've been there before, and with a few more visits, you'll feel like a regular. Of course, eggs. Check out the special sheet, and try to make a decision. If you are full blown gluten free, a warning - the food is cooked inthe same place as gluten filled foods. Head's up. Having said that, the gluten free muffins are tasty, and come in manydifferent flavors. You can get them split and grilled, a real treat. Seafood omelets, beans, and coffes are in abundance here.If the twins are both working, don't worry. One wears glasses. My parents almost pay rent there, and it's easy to see why. My friend and I had come from a weekend at a lovely hotel that sadly had not trained its dining room employees to be helpful and... polite. As a result we went looking elsewhere for our breakfast; we were delighted that we had done so! We walked into therestaurant and were immediately greeted, and were lucky that a table was open - we were seated right away (but would have beenhappy to wait). As we sat, a waitress came by offering coffee, both regular and the flavor of the day. When I hesitated shesaid that if I tried and did not like the flavored coffee, she'd swap it right out with regular. I tried it! (and I liked it!) Our order was taken and food delivered soon after. The place was super busy and obviously popular, but we were not once rushedby wait staff even though there was a line going out the door. My omelet was delicious, and my pal loved her eggs Benedict. The bill was super reasonable considering the service and food. We left, happy, full, and planning a ride in the next monthsjust to head up for breakfast. Amazing breakfast. Skip the trendy cafés of downtown Portsmouth and make your way over here. Leave plenty of time to wait and... be willing to sit at the counter (you'll get a better view of the homemade pies and cakes). I loved my omelette and everythingcame out quickly.
