This place was amazing. Not only was the staff nice and welcoming, they were amusing as well! Food came out quickly. Service was... amazing! *update 16 Jul 22* Ordered the table side guacamole & asked for it very very spicy. I must say, even though it was a bit runny,... the flavor and heat level was fantastic. The fish tacos (grilled) with mango salsa were good but the grilled steak tacos wereeven better! Also got the original margarita (frozen) amd it was one of the best I've had. It didn't have too strong of a limeor tequilla taste - it was the perfect mix for an enjoyable drink. --------------------------------- First time to this locationfor a work function amd it was slam packed. The food and service was much better at this location than the Norfolk location. Their salsa and tableside quac never disappoints. I think I'll likely head back to this place vs the Norfolk one. Located in historic downtown Portsmouth. Worth the visit for the location and venue's authentic feel. The Birria Tacos are... pretty decent. The Shredded Beef was cooked well and flavorful. It just felt like something was missing. The kids ate free,which is beyond amazing, on Sunday. Overall, I'll be returning to get something different and hopefully change anymisconceptions I had. Amazing service! They were fast, polite, and funny, and I?d definitely recommend to come here if you?re in the area. The owner... or current manager on the floor came and spoke with us briefly a few times, and was extremely charismatic as well. Overall theexperience was great! The food was amazing as well, i ordered the Cali burrito which was delicious and my boyfriend ordered afajita. The food came out quickly, it was hot and fresh, and it was awesome! This place makes you feel extremely comfortable andwelcome, and their indoors and outdoors options are great. Keep up the great work guys! Read more

Went with a larger party around lunch time. We were all very patient for the most part. They seemed to avoid servicing us... because we were such a large group. Took forever getting chips and salsa. Took forever getting checks taken care of. Id bewilling to go back and try again with a very smaller party. Was disappointed they didn't have a "spicy mango margarita" typedrink with chamoy, tajin, etc. But they still made me something with it when I asked. Food was okay. Wasn't what I expected. Butlike I said, I'd go back and try again and try something else on the menu. Read more
