I can't help but notice.. no matter what location I visit. I never have a smoothie as good as the ones I get here. Others are... watery, too much yogurt, not enough fruit, way too much sugar, nothing but ice, in some way shape or form the others alwaysscrew up. This location though.. has never done me wrong at all. Every time I come back I always comment on how good my smoothiewas and it's never the same flavor twice. I choose a different smoothie at every location just to test my theories. Not sure ifthis is a training store or not.. but it should be all local tropical smoothie cafes should be required to learn how to makesmoothies like they do. And I have tried a lot from Chesapeake to Norfolk to Virginia Beach to Newport News Hampton. I getaround and I love a good smoothie. If you want the best come to Southern shopping center at Little Creek and Tidewater.. thetropical smoothie next to the ABC store across from Walmart and the old Sam's club is amazing. Thanks for being there and thanksfor being good tropical smoothie Cafe. You make me happy every time I come through your door. Highly recommended. You may haveto wait a minute or two to get your order and your food because they are pretty busy at the peak hours but it's entirely worthit. Read more
Update: 5/24/22 I decided to give Tropical Smoothie another try. I was not disappointed! I ordered a chicken Cesar wrap and it... was delicious! I ordered the cheese quesadilla and was extremely shocked at the value of what I got. It was very small for theprice I paid and cold when I received it. The smoothie is very good and great flavor. My husband and I just stopped here and it was terrible. We stood at the counter and waited forever for someone to take our... order. Then once we got our smoothies they tasted watered down and really bad. We will not be coming back to this location.Waste of time and money. Read more

I am allergic to strawberries and we had told them i was allergic to strawberries and thw girl taking our order had told another... girl to really clean out the blwnder so there was no trace of strawberries. The girl had an attitude bc she has to clean theblender. So ordered our drinks and I told them I wanted banana instead. My husband switched his out too so I wouldn't be nearthe strawberry. We had ordered and they messed up my drink and when we told them that it was wrong, they had an attitude aboutremaking my drink. So they made my drink but they never made my husband's. We were sitting there for 15 minutes waiting for onedrink. But they got other customers their drinks. So my husband went and asked them where his drink was, they were like oh wedidn't make it.
