Loud sports bar vibe with a good number of TVs to watch the games on Sunday. Food was meh at best. I ordered a Nashville hot... chicken sandwich with no cole slaw. It came with it anyway. The chicken tasted like a plain, boiled chicken brest, slightlyunderdone with some brownish, spicy oil poured on it. Most of which ended up on the coleslaw on the bottom bun. The chicken wasnot fried, nor breaded in the slightest. It was the furthest thing from Nashville anything I've ever seen. The burgers arefine, albeit a bit overdone/dry. Some interesting choices and the buns are certainly tasty and not overly "bread-y." The friesare showstring. While they had good flavor, they were extremely greesy - even for fries. College town comfort eats, I guess. But I'll pass next time. Read more

This place has turned into a college bar/restaurant and isn't really for people who just want to go get some decent food and a... drink. As a reference, I have been eating here since it was Between the Buns and have seen some seriously concerning shifts inthe atmosphere and level of service. My wife and ate here last night since almost nothing else is open in the area on a Tuesdaynight. When we went in we were greeted by loud music and lots of folks at the bar. All the seating consisted of high tablesand chairs. There used to be normal height tables and chairs away from the bar, but there is only one table left that isn't barheight. We were promptly seated and someone came with menus and to see if we wanted drinks. The drink menu was all beers ontap and nothing else. I'm not much of a beer drinker and neither is my wife so she ordered a gin and tonic and I ordered an oldfashioned. Her gin and tonic was small but she said it was ok. I'm not sure what my drink was, but it was not an oldfashioned. It was some sort of bad whiskey with lots of ice in it and an orange slice on the rim. It was mostly water. Weordered our food and waited and when the server returned I asked if I could just get a Makers Mark neat. Our food arrived aftera pretty long wait. I had a black bean burger and my wife had a regular burger. They both came with fries, but my wife's frieswere Cajun and she didn't order Cajun. They happily got her the right kind. When my Maker's Mark arrived, it was at leastthree shots and tasted great. I asked for some ketchup and a couple of minutes later the server dropped four ketchup packets onmy table. I had to ask to get glasses of water after our food was delivered. The burgers were fine, but the parmesan garlicfries were neither parmesan nor garlic. They were oddly spicy and had a strange aftertaste. TLDR Definitely not as good as itused to be. It feels more and more like resources are being drained from the place when you can' Read more
