We hired Sugar & Spice to cater our daughters baby shower. They called a week before to make sure there were no changes to the... menu, delivered the food to our house, and were punctual . Everything we ordered was amazing. There were nothing butcompliments from all who attended the shower. I am shocked with the lack of customer service at this place. Myself and co workers called in a decent size lunch order. Being... 25 min away, one of the ladies went to go pick it up. After getting back to our office and opening our meals every salad wasmissing dressing! I gave the store a call and asked to speak with a manager, when the rude young lady put me on hold and getsback on the phone, NOT THE MANAGER, and states we can offer you a credit of .50 cents towards each salad for the missingdressing. I truly laughed and said I would like to speak with the manager. Another woman now gets on the phone and says "i'mnot quite sure what else you would be looking for." You received the salads and the rest of the ingredients in each salad. Myresponse was, "it's quite inconvenient to receive a dry salad while on a lunch break and now unable to eat it. Would you eat drylettuce? The manager responded she can provide me with an extra $2 credit, totaling $3.5. It's not about the money its the lackof respect and customer service at this place that has now driven me away and I would never recommend them. Read more
I really don?t like it when you tip first before you could get a service. Who?s brilliant idea was that? So food came after... 45min and it?s just basic food like toasted avocado and omelette. It?s not even that busy at all! I think if they don?t see yougive a tip after paying at the counter they will let you suffer from hunger and wait a long time to serve your food. Coz the 5people behind us got their food before us. I?m also annoyed that they put too much butter in my croissant. I just wanted a plainone, why would you decide to put a butter on it? I get takeout from this restaurant once or twice a month and it is always excellent! Good portions! Once in a while, I go into... the restaurant and have some thing to eat in. The staff are so friendly and helpful! This is the first time when getting takeoutthat I was somewhat disappointing! I ordered a salad and I ordered chicken gumbo soup! I?m not quite sure if they were short ofchicken!? There was hardly any chicken on my salad and there were two of the tiniest pieces of chicken in my soup!
