Place was empty but service was slow. Waitress had attitude from the start. Didn?t have the desired side dish. Wanted to charge... $2 for a side salad. True customer service would just offer that because they were out of the first choice. Waitress never cameto refill water, but did go chat with a friend/customer and fill up their coffee. Snotty as hell towards us when paying bill.First time I?ve ever left ZERO dollars for a tip. Food was maybe average. Read more

It was an awful experience. The service was the worst. I've been there several times for breakfast and a little boy was... running around and getting more attention than the customers. There was a table full of friends or relatives and that's whereshe spent most of her time. This was always the scene every time we have been there. There was only one other table eatingthere. One of the friends heard me make a remark about the service and passed it on. Then service got really bad! She broughtor food and slammed mine down and never came back. We waited a hour for our meal just to get that kind of service? I will saythat the breakfast was incredible but she probably spit on mine. The cook was amazing. Best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. And worst of all SHE WAS ONE OF THE OWNERS! It's too bad because the food was so good but I will never step foot in there again. Read more

The food was real diner food! Large portions and cooked perfectly! The cost is very reasonable. We are passing through Powell... on the way to Yellowstone and happy we found this gem. If you are from the tri-state area, you will really appreciate the realdiner food. Read more

Meh. Been eating here off and on each summer for the past several years and it's been consistently meh and seemingly getting... worse in service and quality. They are pretty much the only breakfast place in town which is why I had not previously bannedthem. I'll not be back here. Today the restaurant was near empty and the place was just kinda disheveled. The server seemedmiserable, unfriendly and barely interested in taking our order. She brought our foods of mediocrity and wasn't seen again. Thisplace has just gone to the dumps. Read more

Where do I begin. I think the proper place to begin is that my party and I waited 45 minutes before our order was taken. After... that we received a meal that would best be described as sub par. Maybe even below average. Downright flavorless may be the mostfitting. Our food was delivered to us by a waitress who couldn?t be bothered to end her phone call before interacting with us.To rate the meal itself probably a 3/10. It did fill a hole and aid in the classic Saturday morning recovery however that iswhere it?s benefits ended. The chicken fried steak was soggy and over done not to mention it had no flavor. The French frieswere also somehow soggy while tasting burnt? The butter on the toast was obviously some sort of liquid concoction not meant forhuman consumption that set up as soon as it was set on our table. The hash browns were 0% crispy. Like a mix of mashed potatoesand hash browns? The fried eggs were fine however the scrambled eggs were well below hotel eggs in terms of quality and flavor.Chilly and rubbery. Ah and to top off our experience the woman checking us out was somewhat rude and was being unkind to thenice man who poured our coffee. Not a good look considering he was the best employee there(none of this is about you my guy youwere awesome) The menu was in descriptive and didn?t provide enough information on what was given with your meal. A terriblemeal served in an unprofessional environment. Service 2/10, food 3/10. The expectation wasn?t to be waited on hand and foot butsome basic decency and prompt service would?ve been sufficient. It?s a solid half star restaurant. The owners should take noteof the other poor reviews and make some improvements that would increase the 3.8 stars they have on google. Some of the reviewsare so bad they?re comedic. Taking some ownership in the constructive criticism provided may be of long term benefit to thisestablishment. Don?t own a restaurant if you can?t be kind, aren't good at cooking, and aren?t ami Read more
