This is a tradition in Prairie du Chien, WI. Location is right in the Main Street, handy that it?s located right across the... street from the largest selection of New Glarus Brewery products?Spotted Cow is a must have! We enjoyed the burgers?traditionalwith onions, ketchup and mustard. Buns are soft (a good thing). Cost is very favorable at only $6 a piece. The burgers arejuicy and have good flavor. We walked down to the local bar and sat in their outdoor patio and drank a few Spotted Cows. Read more
When a restaurant has one thing on their menu they cook (not gonna include a bag of chips or a soda) you know they have to be... good. This little shack looking burger joint is both quick and delious. We were lucky to get in line right before the lunchrush. Only being second in line and when we left the line was over a block long for both windows. Even if I was at the end ofthe block in line the burger would be worth the wait. Read more
A very historic hamburger stand with onion cheese burgers cooked on a water grill. Don't skip the onion as there is limited... flavor in the burger. Limited menu with chips and soda. The staff was the best. No seating as it is like a permanent foodtruck. Read more
This burger is in the "old school bland" category BUT it's still somehow tasty even with what appears to be no browning on the... surface like it's steamed. The whole thing is tender, not salty so the flavor of the beef comes through with those onions. Dang it this is begging for some cheese though, I'm bringing my own slices with me next time ;) Read more
