This is a great little gem in Prescott on the beautiful St. Croix river! Had a terrific lunch of Mahi Mahi tacos and the... delicious Bourbon Bacon Burger! Absolutely great place for a family meal or to watch a sports game. They took the pilot house and just completely gave it a new... identity. We always would drive from cottage grove to Hudson for the smiling moose (same owners) and when I heard they wereopening a new place in prescott I was so excited. They have not disappointed. Every single dish I have eaten there has beencooked to perfection! Ribs falls off the bone, Nashville spicy chicken sandwich was so delicious I couldn?t put it down, thefish was awesome, and don?t get me started on those smothered tots ???? You?re great guys, keep it up! We will continue to beloyal customers! UPDATE: I lowered to 4 stars only to draw some attention to the fact that the garage door windows when openedhave no barrier at all. As a parent I can see unsupervised kids easily climbing on the window sill and getting hurt. I watch mykids closely, but I know their are parents out there that don?t. Might be something to consider. Great bar and restaurant with a good view of the river. Food and service were both excellent. Lots of TVs for game day. Large... patio for nice days. Also had open air with the large windows open. Read more
We drive from Lake Elmo to have dinner at Two Rivers Lodge Bar & Grill. It?s worth the drive. Their food has never disappointed... and the carrot cake is to die for. Their sister restaurant (Smiling Moose) in Hudson has a similar menu - but Two Rivers hasmore food options, the atmosphere is better and the service is consistently better. If you have the time, drive down and trythem out! Or if you?re in the area - go load up on that carrot cake!! During the summer you can sit on their fun patio and watchthe boats on the river!
