The rooms were tiny. The service was excellent. One of the guests had a barking dog and they were able to relocate us to another... floor on the opposite side of the hotel. They also sent up somebody from the front desk to bring us that key. They're locatedright in the middle of Palmer square Central to everything. Read more

The main thing to know about the Nassau Inn is that it's the only game in town: if you're coming to an event at Princeton and... you want to stay somewhere that you can park the car and get around by walking, this is pretty much your only option. Pointbeing, the Nassau Inn management seems to know this, and they put in exactly as much effort as they need to, and not a whole lotmore. There's honestly nothing really wrong with this hotel; the staff aren't rude, but they also aren't particularly friendlyand look like they'd kind of rather not be there. The ambiance isn't bad, but it's a bit tired-looking and could use someupdating. The only place to hang out besides your room is a plain, dated-looking sitting room off the lobby. There's freecoffee, but you have to stand in line blocking the check-in desk while you wait for it. The rooms are totally fine, very cleanand comfortable, but there's absolutely nothing special about them. We travel a lot, all over the world, and personally, when Ipay $350 a night for a hotel room, I'm hoping for something somewhat special: particularly friendly and helpful staff, a roomthat has some unique touches, a really welcoming lobby or a nice coffee shop. Personally I'd say that the Nassau Inn isn't doinganything wrong, but there's a lot more that they could be doing right at this price point. Based on our stay alone I'd maybegive four stars, but they also made a billing error (charged a member in our party who was not supposed to be charged) and claimthere's nothing they can do to reverse it because it wasn't their mistake (?). We'll definitely stay here again, but I think theNassau Inn management could try a little harder. Read more

Great location, with places to hangout nearby. Very small rooms yet neat and squeaky clean. You should reward them for... maintaining the rooms clean. Gym is a workout room which is mediocre. The hotel provides YMCA passes ask for it. Parking ispaid, a minute walk down the street from the hotel, Hulfish garage by Hulfish street. The hotel will give you a parking card toget in and out unlimited from garage, I think it?s about 20$/night. They have breakfast in the morning about 20$ per person. Alittle life can be added to the room as it?s very small and dull. Good place overall if you get a good deal on the price. Read more

Location is great although I traveled for business on Monday and my flight delayed so I didn't get to the hotel until 9 30 pm... and I couldn't find any resturant serving any kinda food! Last call at kitchen for that town is 9 30! It's an old cute hotelwith stinky rooms , I had to leave the window open to be able to sleep, I am not sure if it's a pet friendly hotel or not butcarpet definitely smelled really bad. Read more

Rooms have beat up furniture, minimal amenities, flickering and/or burnt-out bulbs, dated bathrooms. The couch I'm sitting on... as I type this has snags all over. It's a fuzzy fabric that reminds me of our couch when I was a kid in the 90s. The largeleather chair in the corner is very "loved" and has scratches on it. The mini fridge door doesn't close unless you push it pastthe cabinet it's getting stuck on. There is not one pen/pad in the room (I only noticed because I needed to write on a cardwhile here). It's hard to review the staff, since there are some great ones and some nasty ones. The first girl that checked mein had such a dismissive attitude. I kept reiterating that I ordered the craft beer, and she kept saying it wasn't in the notes.I asked for a different person, and in about 3 seconds the new woman confirmed that the craft beer was delivered to our roomalready. I heard her showing the first girl in the notes exactly where it said that, and she was being rude to her coworkerabout it too. If you are charging luxury prices per night, you have to up your game, Nassau Inn. Hire professional staff. Fixup the rooms. It's the little things that really improve one's stay. Read more
