My husband and I were wanting breakfast around 1pm so we chose to try this place. We both ordered the three meat omelette. It's... big and filling and comes with a side of shredded hash browns, and toast or biscuit. I chose the biscuit and it was warm andsoft, although the bottom of it was a bit dry. It was definitely filling and the service was good and the server was nice andattentive. We will return. Read more

I really enjoyed eating at Black Bear. I have never been to one before and I wasn't sure what to expect. I was really happy with... the selection of options. A traditional diner to be sure but very good. As a big guy, I loved the large servings and Iadmittedly had less leftovers than I care to admit. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a hearty breakfast. Read more

We have had breakfast here several times and it has been tasty each time. I have tried the French toast, omelets, and chicken... fried steak. My wife's favorite is the cinnamon roll French toast. Service is good, the fresh orange juice is really good, will return in the future! Thanks for the tasty grub! Read more

I went here with friends on Labor Day, and as expected, they were busy. No worries there. However, when my coffee came out, the... mug was really dirty. There were chunks on the inner rim just above the drink line. When we got our food, our steak was orderedmedium-rare but came out well done and gristly. Alex was our server and did a great job. We did not discuss any of the issues,so we definitely didn?t expect her to fix what she wasn?t aware of. I definitely recommend keeping a better eye on food anddinnerware. I also wish there were more gluten-free options, including sauces, but that had no part in the less than idealreview. Read more

I have tried to give this place a fair shake on multiple occasions. Our server took forever to bring the correct toast that we... asked for when we ordered. The server was super friendly and considerate, he was also very busy (shirt staffed that day, like somany other places right now). The food was just blah. Lacked flavor. Portions were great, and so was the pricing, just reallybland food. This was the fourth time I have been in and now I know why I go so long in between visits. They definitely ratepretty low on my list of places for breakfast/brunch. Read more
