While Cafe Rio struggles at most locations this location goes above and beyond. Today we arrived shortly after 11am, while they... are grilling meats for the lunch rush. Mery went above and beyond and took the coconut shrimp order while the fryer was warmingup and brought our food table side. She also followed up with us in the middle of our meal and asked if we needed anything elseand if we liked our coconut shrimp tacos. Read more
I ordered catering for 25 people 2 days in advance online. The instruction indicated it would be ready by 3PM. I showed up at... 3:10 and the manager said that it was almost ready. To this point I'm good. We wait about 15 minutes when we are advised it wasready. We are now late and grab it and hurry to our destination 1.5 hours away. Upon arrival, we discover that there was nolettuce or cheese included in our Taco Fiesta package. I had some people in the group that are vegetarian and were counting onthat specifically. I realize I share responsibility in checking the contents, but, I was extremely disappointed and embarrassedwhen I put out the food. These guys hooked me up! I ordered over the phone which, to be honest, was kind of weird, because a kind of call center takes... your order. But they got my order perfect. So if you want the item, you have to pay whatever the item costs like if you were ordering itseparately or by itself. For example I ordered a pork burrito and wanted half pinto and half black beans, but on the sideInstead of inside the burrito. Well they couldn't do that. It's a call center so it's not their fault. But Café Rio needs tore-design the whole thing. I shouldn't have to pay more for something that already comes with the burrito. Otherwise, their foodis great. Read more
