Me and my family have been going here from day 1! We usually get a lot of bagels and just bring them home. Being from NY it was... nice to have this so close to home now. The bagels, food and service are usually a 10/10! However today was not the bestexperience and that sucked. The woman behind the counter was so rude, not taking the time to listen to the costumers and almostrushing them out of the door. Well we still got our food and when we get home the order was lets say wrong. Now we understandeveryone has a bad day, but raw eggs? Girl please if your that upset just step away I rather see a Back in 20! sign, then gethome and the food I paid for be inedible. Now I understand why the Now hiring sign said indeed of positive hardworking people. Read more
This place has some amazing bagels. They have amazing cheese and plain bagels. Though their onion bagels was really bad. The... Onion Bagel left a burnt onion taste in my mouth and tasted really awful (even with salmon & cream cheese on it).I recommendgoing to this place if you like a good bagel, but steer clear of the onion bagels. NY themed shop with some NJ flare (pork roll) & delish prepared bagel sandwiches- when they're prepared correctly... I much... prefer to support our local shops and I enjoy Empire Bagels; food is good and the staff is friendly However, I've subtractedstars because they've been unable to get my order correct most of the time which needless to say is quite disappointing once youget to wherever it is you intend to eat and find that your food isn't what you ordered or prepared as you ordered it. Toasting abagel should not be a mis-step in a bagel joint; & pork roll should be thoroughly cooked, not just warmed up on thegriddle....both of which I've requested repeatedly and only received once out of the many visits. The bagels are amazing. Unfortunately the wait is ridiculous. My husband and I order online because it?s a small shop and it... gets a little claustrophobic. Despite being given a pick up time (20-30 minutes for breakfast sandwiches) we end up waiting anadditional 15-20 minutes. Would have given 5 stars if it weren?t for the wait. Read more
