First off let's just say the brisket was dry, the lemons looked rotten, definitely no employees seemed happy whatsoever. The... place was so quiet. When I asked to maybe turn up the volume on one of the TV's, the guy said he wasn't allowed. Watching therace may have made me not notice how dirty it was. Meanwhile what seemed to be the manager and the cashier were only concernedabout their phones ( I got pics of EVERYTHING) There was one other family on the opposite end in a more private spot and theplace was deafening silent except for the guy bussing tables. Ribs tasted old, when I mentioned it to the guy working there. His response was.."I'll make sure they put out fresh ribs... tomorrow" I've ate at Van's for years and never had bad ribs, I was fine with hey it was an off night, but that response reallybothers me.
