A very busy family-style place, and that?s a good thing! Does take a while for the food to come out, but the portions are huge... and the quality is good. This was my first time having Korean noodles with black bean sauce and it was pretty decent. Imaginelomein noodles covered in a french onion soup beef gravy. The fried stuff is tempura style which is nice, though the ?garlic?sauce on my fried chicken didn?t taste like garlic at all, rather sweet and sour sauce which was unexpected. Overall theservice was friendly and I like the vibe of this place. I?ll be returning to try some of the other menu items. Read more

Don?t be fooled by the 3 stars. This place is a hidden gem. Always packed and their food is prob the best in this area for... Korean/Chinese. The Jjamppong was flavorful. Better than most. Read more

Ever since ??? hasn't been the greatest, this is my go-to jjajangmyun place. The portions are really big, and the staff is very... friendly. We ordered jjajangmyun and tangsooyook. Tangsooyook was one of the best I've ever had. We had japchae bap to go, andit was not bad. I'd recommend getting tangsooyook for sure. Read more

We were visiting from Atlanta where everyone always assumes the best Korean food can be found, but I politely disagree. Northern... Boulevard, with all its humble storefronts where some of the best and tastiest hidden treasures can be found. I thought I knewwhere the best jjajangmyun, or black bean noodles, could be found, but in the time I've lived outside of New York, this noodlehouse has apparently and recently gained the reputation of the best jjajangmyun in town. There are tons of combination plattersin case you're craving a variety of the most popular plates (with cleverly sectioned off bowls that keep the two entreesseparate), but I went straight for my tried and true order of black bean noodles and especially appreciated that there was avegetarian variety for non-meat eaters like me. I've never seen whole broccoli florets in my black bean sauce but I appreciatedthe healthful touch. Plus everyone else at the table who ordered the regular kind seemed to be gazing enviously at my verdantpops of veg. The noodles are fresh, with just the slightest toothsome quality, and the sauce was just as delicious as myparents promised it'd be. We also ordered some of the spicy battered shrimp, which ended up being a little softer than I'd like, but when a dish is so saucy, it's hard to maintain a crunchy batter. This was our very first meal after our plane touched downin New York, and it'll likely be where I have every first meal henceforth when I visit. Read more
