Wow! this place is amazing. It is a traditional Korean style sashimi - they have the tanks with the live fish and all the other... sea creatures they serve. This place is amazing. I've never experienced Hwe before and this was the perfect introduction. All the food was extremely fresh... and delicious and they even threw in a few items on the house for us. Top notch. We have been coming to this for a long time, food was always sold. The Sushi chef knew what he was doing and sushi was always... delicious. After they reopened to what is now called. They made some not so great changes. They increased the price, changed thespecial rolls menu (bring it back), and changed their sushi chef. My family loves halibut! I ordered here as I got a recommendation from a close friend who complimented for the freshness of... their fish. Result? This place has become my goto! I even ordered here for the Moon Festival dinner. I gotta say, if you'relooking for quality fish with decent Korean side dishes to wow your guest, you're not going to be disappointed. The price may bea little higher than other places, but the live fish will not disappoint you. I've ordered 3 times so far, all a greatexperience. I do think that there isn't much difference between the $80 and the $100. Perhaps the side dishes? But if you'rehesitant, try the $80 first. I also noticed that they only have their menus in Korean. Perhaps they can improve on that byproviding an English copy. COVID update: - They've set up a nice outdoor seating area on the 189th street. It's pretty private,covered by plastic bags.
